Terms of Use & License

1. Agreement

These Terms are a contract between you and A10I Tech Works Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"), the maker of VaakApp. By downloading, installing, or using VaakApp you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. License

VaakApp is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. When you buy the VaakApp license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use VaakApp on up to 2 devices you own or control. Your license includes lifetime updates.

You may not:

  • resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app or your license key;
  • reverse-engineer the app except where that right cannot be excluded by law;
  • remove or alter any proprietary notices.

3. Free trial

VaakApp offers a 7-day free trial with full features and no credit card. When the trial ends you need a licence to keep using it.

4. Payment and refunds

Purchases are processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record. We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund — see the Refund Policy for details.

5. Privacy

VaakApp processes your speech on your device and never uploads your audio or transcripts. The Privacy Policy lists every network request this build can make, and exactly what each one carries.

6. The software is provided “as is”

Speech recognition is probabilistic and will sometimes get words wrong, so please read what it typed before relying on it — particularly for anything that matters. Apart from the guarantees and remedies that the law where you live does not let us exclude, VaakApp is provided "as is" without further warranties.

7. Limitation of liability

Nothing here excludes or limits your mandatory consumer rights, or our liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence — those cannot be signed away and we are not trying to.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, A10I Tech Works Pvt Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for your licence.

8. Updates and changes

We may update VaakApp, and we may change these Terms for future purchases. Changes are posted at vaakapp.com/terms with a new date, and where a change materially affects a licence you already own we will give reasonable notice first. A change never removes rights you already have, either under the law or under the terms in force when you bought.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, that choice does not take away the mandatory protections of the country you live in, and it does not restrict any court or complaints body that law gives you access to.
